Hi!

Some one once posted (or told me, I forget who) that if you measure your
ratio of how many wefts vs. how many cords then you can use Microsoft Excel.
You make the cells as wide as one cord and as high as one weft pick (choose
Format > Rows for the height and Format > Columns for the width) Then you
take an image file and paste it as the background (Format > Sheet >
Background). Before you can print it, you have to go to the cell that is in
the lowest right hand corner of the area you want to print and type
something in that cell. Otherwise, Excel thinks the table is empty and
won't print it. When you print it, choose File > Page Setup > Sheet tab and
check the 'Gridlines' box under Print so that it will print the graph.
Sometimes you may have to resize the image to get it to fit the number of
cards you want to use. I usually 'tweak' it a little before I start weaving
or after I do a test run. This is the easiest way for me aside from the
graph paper.
