It is that time again, time to start thinking about tablet weaving at the next Convergence which will be held July 1-3, 2004, in Denver.

We will be holding our biannual TWIST meeting, as usual, as well as hosting a TWIST-In where anyone is invited to spend several quality hours in a very public place hanging out with other tablet weavers and plying your craft.  This has been a popular activity at several Convergences, and I have already been promised that they will try very hard not to schedule a tablet weaving seminar in the same time slot as happened in Vancouver!

Although, sadly, there won't be an exhibit devoted to passementerie, there are several exhibits which I would encourage everyone to enter.  One is "Small Expressions" while the other is called "Trail Mix" for interlaced textile techniques.  All exhibits at Convergence in 2004 are juried, again sadly, in my opinion, but then I'm not in charge, so you will need to do some foreplanning for these.  I'm not sure yet if the information about these exhibits is on-line yet, but keep on eye on www.weavespindye.org (HGA's web page) for news.

Now would be a good time to start planning and weaving those amazing entries, ladies and gentlemen.  Our craft is not a quick one!  If you have any questions, please let me know.
