just a few more information on the meeting - as some people asked for more: 29 persons attended the German tablet weavers meeting. Additionally Marijke van Epen joined the meeting as a special guest. There were two participants from Denmark. The list of participants can be found on http://www.tempus-vivit.net/brettchenweben/veranstaltungen/Webertreffen2003/teilnehmer.html Beside current weaving projects there were some workshops held: - brocading (by Silvia Ungerechts) - combining loom weaving with tablet weaving (by Sylvia Crumbach) - weaving with 2-holed tablets (by my wife Ilona) - double-faced 3/1 broken twill and missed-hole (by myself) The "cultural highlight" was a visit in the Flachsmuseum (flax museum) in Wegberg.
