Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques I have photos somewhere: they are all attractive geometric designs, from the Folk Museum in Oslo. I'm guessing that if I knew the basic technique, I could work out how to weave the specific patterns...this may be hopelessly optimistic...
By hole and slot, do you mean rigid heddle? If so yes, I've done the simplest version of that, but don't know how to weave patterns - I only know how to weave simple tabby with a single heddle. The rigid heddle is a relatively recent invention afaik: would vikings have used leash-and-stick to get the same effect? I would love any help you can give me - thank you!
