Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

Hi, I've just recently started tabletweaving again, and am wondering if
anyone can give me tips on spinning tussah silk sliver for TW. I figure it's
got to be pretty high twist, and am considering using my charkha rather than
my Majacraft. The main problem I run into with the sliver is that the fiber
ends want to stick out in the finished yarn. Is there any way to get a
smooth yarn out of this stuff, or do I need to go to silk filament for that?
Or does it even really need to be smooth for costume trim?

Thanks much!

Gytha
