Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques Our preparation for the Roman demo is going quite well. I haven't finished the wooden tablets yet (delay caused by DH losing the chuck key for the electric drill). I have already cut them out, though, using 1/16" basswood, and I found them easy to cut with a craft knife. I have 1/32" too, but I decided that as I'll be using thicker yarn this time (2/5wc worsted wool, 1400 ypp) I could play safe and use the thicker wood. If they work, I'll make thinner cards later.
I have also been making the TW started band for the warp-weighted loom. Yesterday I put a description and pictures on my blog: http://www.deastrega.com/spinjenny/ Best wishes, Jenny K mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send private reply to Jenny Kosarew <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop receiving tabletweaving (not tabletweaving-digest), send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: unsubscribe tabletweaving.
