Dear Sarah and Gudrun,

Amazing coincidence! My husband and I just went over threading again and he looked at the back of the band. Guess what? The rams horn is there!!! He kept telling me the threading was reversed, but we didn't know what that meant as far as front and back of the band was concerned. I just came upstairs to write you and found your diagnoses.

I had looked at Sarah's site, but not at all the links so missed kivrim. It's beautiful and I'll try combinations with that on my next band. I got the ramshorn attachment and will try downloading the UNIX version and work with it.

I appreciate your help and suggestions very much,

Sharon

Hi Sharon,

It looks like a threading issue. I know you said you double-checked,
but it's confusing! Take a look at my basic TW info, at
http://www.stringpage.com/tw/basictw.html
and the ram's horn (kivrim) pattern linked from there and see if
that helps.

It looks like the colors are in the right places, but that the
threading is reversed (S vs Z). What does the back of the band
look like?

Sarah
