To finish my bands I often sew the warp end twice across the band, no matter hitting in the shed, just make sure the thread is in the band. An other solution is to use a piece of leather , if you want to make a bracelet sew 2 cm of a 5 cm piece of leather with a button hole on the end and sew a funny button on the other! For a belt put the leather piece over the buckle (as for a leather belt) and sew over the band end. I also use any occasion to show and tell about tablet weaving, try to teach courses any time people ask for it, but it is quite difficult (few people here in Iceland) though a lot of people (proportionally) know something about tablet weaving, no long time since it was common use here (see about Margarethe Lehmann-Filh�s). We are the tablet weaving future, while we are weaving and showing and telling TW goes on!
