Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques I nearly always use warp weights on my horizontally stretched warp.My tablets rest on the surface. The weight depends a lot on the kind of yarn and the size. For very fine silk I use 25 gr per tablet, for woolen yarn of medium seize about 50 gr The other materials in between these weights At the start I had to learn weaving in this manner. Turning of the tablets is much easier when the tension of the warp is not too high.
