Linda,

The leashes are wonderful!  When my issue of Handwoven arrived, I noticed the leashes first thing and wondered where the article for them was.

Thanks.

Dear Everyone,

My article "Tablet-Woven Leashes for Spike and Jones" is now on the
Handwoven magazine website at
.
If for some reason this link doesn't work, go to
and you can find a link there to
take you to the article.

Both leashes feature dog footprints and each dog's name in the
double-faced weave, warp-twined checkerboards, and a woven
loop. Jones' leash also has a haiku that I made up after discovering
dog haiku on the Internet.

Directions include an overview of double-faced tablet weaving, as
well as graphs for the dog footprints and an alphabet based on Gill
Sans from my book "Please Weave a Message".

Enjoy!

Take care,
Linda
