Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

You've probably all heard this elsewhere, but I'm not sure if it's been posted to this e-list: The deadline for submitting proposals to teach at Complex Weavers 2008 is January 15. The CW conference will be held at Ekerd College, in St. Petersburg, Florida, immediately after Convergence. The education committee is especially looking for new faces & new topics for 2008, though we also understand that each conference is a different audience, and we would cheerfully welcome proposals from those who have taught at CW previously.

For more information on the conference and on how to submit proposals to teach, go to:

http://www.complex-weavers.org/announce.htm

and scroll down to "Call for Proposals." There is a PDF that tells you everything you need to know about submitting proposals to teach at CW08. Email submissions are encouraged. CW conferences have a focus on paper-and-pencil seminars rather than hands-on "mini-workshops." Thus, seminars on the history of TW in a given period or TW & archeological finds would be most welcome.

Let's have the tabletweavers represented at CW in 2008. After all, TWIST began it illustrious life as a CW study group.
