Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques
Hello everyone,
I am passing along this info for anyone who does tablet weaving
commissions. John McDwemott, from Texas, wants to commission a
tablet weaver to make a band for a Thorsberg sagum (that would be
trim for a cloak, for those like me who might not know about this
sort of thing!). From the photos of garments that he has previously
commissioned, it appears to be fairly simple -- just plain stripes in
warp twining. If you are interested, please contact John directly at
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. He can send you jpegs and tell you the details.
By the way, I've been weaving Chinese characters lately in the
double-faced weave... what fun!
Take care,
Linda
