Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques Hi Everyone,
I have just returned home from a very interesting visit to a new business here in Portland, The Natural Burial Company <www.naturalburialcompany.com>. The owner is interested in talking with artists about creating biodegradable items to be used in natural burials such as shrouds, woven caskets, etc. While talking with her I mentioned that I recalled reading somewhere that tablet-woven bands have been used to lower caskets into the ground. She was very interested in this, and wanted to know more about it. Can anyone provide some details? Thanks! Take care, Linda ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Linda Hendrickson Laurelhurst Fiber Art Studio & Urban Farm Portland, Oregon USA www.lindahendrickson.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Send private reply to Linda Hendrickson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop receiving tabletweaving (not tabletweaving-digest), send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: unsubscribe tabletweaving.
