Also I'd like to point out that there are memory leaks in MSIE . I have this app , which is a single Tapestry PAge and multiple components . Components change within the page through AjaxDirectLinks . Each AjaxDirectLink call seems to add 2 - 3 MB to the MSIE memory usage .
I only noticed this problem when I copied the PartialTree code into my test app . Since the tree was big , within a few clicks MSIE started lagging . I looked and it was at 180 MB of memory used . I then tested this in Firefox and memory was fine . I also went with MSIE to the tacos demo and watched for problems but there were none . The live dedmo now i guess is based on alpha 6 . I was using a 2 - 3 night old build of alpha 7 .
