Yeah the maven build part is working, just not testng with it. You have to install the maven plugin for eclipse to get it going properly..Even after that the maven test plugin does something evil that causes Xpp xml library to be the default SaxParser - which doesn't support validation - and subsequently causes the testng-jdk14 logic to fail. I updated the eclipse test launcher to add a - Djavax.sax.xml.fooo=Foo so it picks up the correct xml parser.

I'm working with the maven/testng people to fix the surefire plugin now so that it supports junit OR testng. ( http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MSUREFIRE-23)
