Maybe it's just Tapestry.form.submit who needs to be changed.
I haven't had the time to test properly, though :(.
2 options:
1) To fix the standard contrib:Table's javascript so it works on Tacos.
A click in the paging link should refresh the table info through Ajax.
2) To create a new table component just for Ajax.
I really would like to avoid 2).
