Hook for the function called after the element has been updated (i.e. when the user has selected an entry). The function receives two parameters, the autocompletion input field and the selected item (the item selected).
I guess some sort of chaining function might be possible. Sounds a little complex to implement but it's doable. I was actually planning on implementing this in tap 4.1 only, but maybe it'll find it's way in here eventually.

Cosmin, have you tried the AjaxEventSubmit with the first autocompleter?
I think your idea is correct. Bind a submit event onblur of the first
autocompleter, so that the second one knows what kind of values to
provide.
