Or perhaps the rather amazing High Line http://www.thehighline.org/about/park-information an old elevated railway line through Manhattan which has been turned into a linear park. Rather nicely rendered in OSM http://osm.org/go/Zct9EBTF-- though perhaps it might be nice if it had a park area as well.
