Pole seems to be the most common word. It seems that the narrow lattice poles are not used much; they don't appear in http://www.hydroquebec.com/learning/transport/types-pylones.html, http://www.srpnet.com/electric/transmission/#5 or http://books.google.com/books?id=Zbrq26QZ7LsC&pg=PA577&lpg=PA577 for example. "Narrow-base lattice" looks like a common enough term for these: http://www.google.com/search?q=%22narrow+base%22+lattice+transmission Perhaps we can just specify that these should be tagged power=pole pole=narrow_base_lattice? When I get a chance I'm going to compile a table of all the different types I can find. _______________________________________________ Tagging mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/tagging
