It's not exactly what you are looking for, but I'm working on a script
to render mapkeys (legend) images from a stylesheet. It creates a
database with node/way/area associated with the tags found in the
spreadsheet, then renders it with nik2img.

Some pre-rendered pics can be found in the archive.
Actually, I could probably modify it to take your spreadsheet as input
instead of a stylesheet.

The images are fine.
I'm looking at sample for each feature with a link
ie.

So a complete list of every map feature with an example of each would
be helpful :)
It would be great to have a sample link on every wiki page, so then
users can easily see how it's mapped.
The map Features chart is great, im just making it into an open access
GoogleDocs chart form, with more details.
