Hello! Previous voting showed that a minor number of interested in this feature mappers disagree with the surface= tag. In respect to them, the proposal was redone, to use the following tagging scheme:
winter_road=yes ice_road=yes A value of surface=ice_road is obsoleted. There were no comments during enlarged RFC period. So now proposal is opened for voting again.
