I think I would tag some of the examples there more naturally as barrier=fence. For example, barrier=cable_barrier. There seems to be an overlap with fence: are these meant to supercede fence? In passing, barrier=cable_barrier would be better as cable_fence. In general a fence is an extended structure. But I do note the comments on post_and_chain. Thus I think post_and_chain and cable_barrier are varieties of fence.
