A litre of oil is close to the price of a quarter of a tank of fuel, they surely don't give that away free? As for trusting them to put the right oil in..... When I started driving there were still a lot of attendant filling stations around, I tended to avoid them as I had a car with a small tank and they never filled it to the level I did for a long journey.
