it is being discussed on our telegram group https://t.me/openchargemap to change all sockets into connector. Only add socket or cable where it needs to be differentiated. Examples : connector:type1:socket connector:type2:cable connector:ccs connector:chademo
Where a cable exists (is present) then why not tag : cable=yes/no/ length (in metres) ??? Cables would be wired in to prevent theft? On one one OSM entry there should be one connector with any required cable tag (and voltage/amperage etc)?
