I'm in agreement with you Carole, there is usually a lack of a nice HTML style, user-lingo version of specs when they're pushed out. It seems to just be a curse that early implementors endure.
Why not start one? :) You just need to reword the spec in user-lingo, hyperlink it and then add more subtle user-domain things that the spec doesn't focus on as time goes by.
