Carlos,

I have the same problem as you. I'm running Tomcat 3.2.3, and I can't
upgrade easily (at least not on my own because I'm not prolific in server
maintenence) to 4.0.4.

Be aware, though, that XTAGS will try to validate against DTDs. So, if an
XML file you are parsing declares a DTD, then you'll get some errors.

I know I've been told that I can use mod_jk with Tomcat 4.0.4 rather than
mod_webapp, but the tar file I downloaded for Tomcat 4.0.4 apparently didn't
come with the directory structure described at
http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.0-doc/config/ajp.html

I'm pulling my hair out over this. Has anyone else successfully configured
Tomcat 4.x to work on a Cobalt RaQ4 without upgrading glibc to 2.2? If so,
can you walk me through it?
