I'm using Apache Tomcat/5.0.16.
As a JSTL newbee I tried the following with the
jakarta-taglibs-standard-1.1.0-B1:
<c:set var="customerID" value="007" />
<c:out value="${customerID}" default="008"/>
Unfortunately the output was:
${customerID}
No errors habe been reported.
Then I tried the very same JSP with
jakarta-taglibs-standard-1.0.4 and the output was as
exptected:
007
Can somebody tell me why this is working for 1.0.4 but
not for 1.1.0-B1?
