Entity reference preservation in

Hi

I'm have a problem with the <bean:write> tag automagically encoding & in
my content.

The problem is that the content contains entity references of the form
&#194; which are getting converted to &amp;#194; which means that the
user is seeing &#194; instead of Ã

Does anyone know how I can disable/workaround this problem?
