Hi Shawn, I've had a Windows Tahoe node running pretty reliably as a service for quite some time. You can download the stable production client here:
http://allmydata.com/downloads/Allmydata321Setup.exe Just edit the introducer and helper to point to your grid and the client should work fine. It installs and starts a node as a service and also installs a backup client along with a virtual drive (CIFS) implementation. I'm also almost ready with the latest trunk build here: http://allmydata.org/tahoe-w32-client/ I still have to get the script set up in a cron job and I cannot attest to the build that is currently in that directory, but it soon should start updating with the latest builds. Hope this helps, Ps Shawn Willden wrote: > > Currently there are seven nodes in my friendnet, three of which are rarely > running because they're on Windows boxes, and I haven't got around to > figuring out how to reliably run Tahoe as a service and haven't convinced the > users that they always need to start it up whenever they log on. > _______________________________________________ tahoe-dev mailing list [email protected] http://allmydata.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tahoe-dev
