Thanks for the reply. Another way to do it semi-manually is (given that all of the shares were on my local node) to delete half the shares, then run the check-with-repair. that will recreate the missing shares and distribute.
I deleted shares 5-9, ran the check-with-repair, then deleted 0-4 and ran check-with-repair again.
