This update will cover Least Authority’s work for the Tahoe-LAFS Software
Foundation for June 2024.
During this time frame the team was able to work on the following:

Recovery Phrases

Added preliminary/experimental support for non-BIP39 wordlists
-
Released v0.0.7 “deterministic-keygen” library on crates.io and PyPI
-
Improved support for non-English wordlists, CJK characters
-
Improved error-handling and user-facing messages
-
Added word-completion, language-detection, and phrase-validation
functionality
-
Misc. UI updates (language-selector dropdown, layout improvements)
and cross-platform testing (Windows, macOS)
-
Various integration work with Gridsync (deriving secrets from initial
seed, supporting config dir changes, writing tests, etc.)
-
Port Tahoe-LAFS Mobile to iOS
-
Obsidian has fixed two issues in their framework for us, a running
iOS Build is around the corner™

Next up is wiring the App internals to iOS

Replacement for the Current Issue Tracking System - Trac (ticket #4095)

Finalizing the scope and the definition of the deliverables in the

of the Tahoe-LAFS mobile app

Additionally, a few hours of our time was spent on project administration
and coordination.
