Hi All, Zooko suggested that I should post this to the list,
http://www.sgenomics.org/~jtang/blog/posts/git-annex_and_tahoe-lafs_as_a_special_remote/ What I am doing is using git-annex to manage my files using tahoe-lafs as a remote to store the blobs. I've only just started using this setup, and it isn't very well tested. But it does work! Please note that the post's instructions are just a guideline, I am assuming that whoever is following the instructions understands how git-annex works and how tahoe-lafs works. In short I think the combination of git-annex and tahoe-lafs will give me a pretty reliable backup (between tahoe-lafs redundancy and git-annex's data replication), hope the above helps someone else.
