What is wrong with a log file analyzer? Why execute other people's
scripts on end user machine
Data should be widely shared if it facilitates cooperation on your
activies. Otherwise, if certain data has value, it has more value if
google does not have it.
If you would put up all the analytic data on a world readable and google
indexable web page, then there is no harm in having google analytics
collect it. If you would not, then there is harm.
