Not everyone was able to connect to the Google Hangout, so we eventually switched to IRC so as to include everyone. The people who were able to connect were fairly satisfied with the audio and video quality of the Google Hangout, except that there was such high latency on the audio that it was near useless for back-and-forth conversation.
