Have you looked at "Duplicati"? It is an alternative/fork of duplicity.

I wonder what duplicity is doing to Tahoe-LAFS, like if it is creating
directories, mutable files, or immutable files, and how many of them,
and what sorts of updates it is doing to the mutables. You could find
out by looking at the "Recent Uploads and Downloads" page after
running duplicity.
