Suppose I'm tailoring from subversion to monotone, and the last revision in my monotone database has the same contents as some revision in the subversion database.
Is there some convenient way to continue from that point? What actually happened is that I was keeping my subversion repository (which is itself converted using Tailor) etc., on one of our filesystems, and despite it being RAID5, something horrible went wrong and one revision got lost. So (after a few failed attempts at reconstructing the missing revision), I decided to start again, after updating Tailor (I was a few weeks out of date). (The latest version works much better for me, by the way: 6 months or so all converted cleanly, whereas previously it required odd bits of handholding.) So that leaves me with a different subversion repository, but a monotone database that's fine up to some revision (well, there are some minor differences caused by little bugs in the older Tailor, but that's just a one off commit to fix). So how can I join up the two? What I want to avoid is Tailor deciding to add all the files: they're all there! _______________________________________________ Tailor mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zooko.com/mailman/listinfo/tailor
