I don't think they could both work as they do nearly the same thing
for at least one case. If Daniel is correct and tailor is deleting
the src from the copy, then it shouldn't matter either way.
Note that I did have different behavior when I used disjunct trees
and had to accommodate that. I don't completely see the value of two
distinct modes of operation. It often feels that bug fixes for one
cause bugs in the other (which is why I had two changesets several
days apart).
In any case, both cases need to be tested.
