After much head-scratching, Brian Warner and I solved this problem for two-way sync between SVN and darcs for allmydata.com's proprietary code base. I posted some notes about it on the tailor trac. I would be happy to share the resulting shell scripts and notes, but I would not be happy to maintain or update them. Allmydata's next- generation, open source codebase (http://allmydata.org ) uses darcs exclusively for now and we no longer need those scripts. So if someone wants a copy of our two-way-sync scripts and understands that I don't intend to spend a lot of time helping people use it, please e-mail me.
