Hi,

I am pondering using TUF for the Tails [0] upcoming incremental
upgrade system.

I was not able to clone the TUF VCS repository:

  $ hg clone --insecure https://www.updateframework.com/hg/tuf/
  warning: www.updateframework.com certificate with fingerprint
4b:14:f2:21:1b:43:3c:34:a0:3f:cc:bb:9d:ca:7c:de:ba:03:43:ed not verified (check
hostfingerprints or web.cacerts config setting)
  destination directory: tuf
  requesting all changes
  abort: HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error

Am I doing something wrong, or is anything broken on your side?

Also, I'm curious about the general state of the implementation,
especially the quickstart.py one.
Are there projects that use it in production?
