our current MAC address doc [1] reads:

  "This address is actually used to address your computer on the local
  network, but it will never get out on the Internet so people can not
  use it to trace you."

It was raised on #tails (thanks velope!) that this is oversimplified
and incorrect: "There are many public wifi 'login' pages that transmit
the mac to a central authentication server in a URL; like in chain
hotels".

sajolida: shall I file a ticket, or do you want to do it, or just fix
it on the spot?
