Hi, I had some time on my hands so i completely redid the logo. I started from scratch with a sketch, scanned it and then changed it in photoshop. So you don’t have to worry about the source. I used "Myriad Pro“ font again but according to this article it’s ok to use it in a logo.
I made two possible logos. I guess you can either interpret it as an iceberg (biggest part is hidden, etc. ; which in my opinion is a fitting metaphor for tails) or as a floating island (autonomous, like the stand-alone OS tails is) if you need higher resolution files, let me know -Constantin Koblmiller Am 17.03.2014 um 16:26 schrieb [email protected]: > intrigeri: >> Hi Constantin, >> >> Constantin Koblmiller wrote (11 Mar 2014 22:26:50 GMT) : >>> there you go http://imgur.com/k7wJF2z >> >> Thanks a lot for your contribution! >> >> We need a bit more information to make sure your proposal meets our >> needs: >> >> * SVG source of the picture >> * license >> * name of the font(s) being used > > Hi Constantin, > > I added your proposal on the blueprint where we gather all the proposals > we received so far: > > https://tails.boum.org/blueprint/logo/#index5h1 > > But yes, we will need the SVG source and regarding font licensing, to be > on the safe side, use fonts available in Debian main, otherwise we will > ask you to prove their compatibility with GPL3+. > > -- > sajolida > >
