Hi, according to user feedback on #8996, this makes Vietnamese input (added in 1.3) usable in LibreOffice.
As a side-effect, it should also make it way easier to work on e.g. office documents that were created on Windows, as the shipped fonts are meant to be compatible replacements for Times New Roman (and in part Helvetica/Arial). IIRC, either fontconfig or LibreOffice transparently uses the Libertine fonts to replace Times New Roman in such documents. Note that this makes the ISO grow by about 8MB (with gzip SquashFS compression), but I think it's worth it for improved inter-operability and better Vietnamese (and possibly other IBus-needing ones) language support. Cheers, -- intrigeri _______________________________________________ Tails-dev mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.boum.org/listinfo/tails-dev To unsubscribe from this list, send an empty email to [email protected].
