I've just uploaded Jessie's eatmydata to wheezy-backports, so that
question is now moot. It indeed fixes the problem when building
feature/jessie, so once it reaches the Debian archive I'll have it
installed on our Jenkins builders and will add a note about in on
contribute/build. But as long as you don't want to build
feature/jessie, you can as well ignore this entirely.
