Hi,
Due to Mozilla delaying the Firefox releases by a week, the next Tor
Browser and (hence) Tails releases will be delayed as well. So, the new
release date for Tails 2.3 is 2016-04-26. Below I'll post an updated
schedule and testing dates:
Here's the preliminary release schedule for Tails 2.3:
* 2016-04-25:
- All branches targeting Tails 2.3 *must* be merged into the `stable`
branch by noon, CEST.
- The upcoming Tor Browser is hopefully out so we can import it.
- Build and upload Tails 2.3 ISO image and IUKs.
- Hopefully start testing Tails 2.3.
* 2016-04-26:
- Finish testing Tails 2.3 by the afternoon, CEST.
- Release Tails 2.3 during late CEST.
Testers, please let me know:
* if you are available on 2016-04-25, late CEST
* if you are available on 2016-04-26, morning to afternoon, CEST.
