Monero is a very > mainstream coin as an alternative to Bitcoin. I agree that, if Tails was to include software for another cryptocurrency, it should be Monero. We have a FAQ about adding more software to Tails: https://tails.boum.org/support/faq#new_software If a software is not included in Tails, but is included in Debian, you can use the Additional Software feature of the Persistent Storage to install it automatically every time you start Tails. I see that the monero CLI and server is already in Debian but that the shape of the package is not super great: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/monero I can't find any GUI for it in Debian. If the Monero project upstream is serious about Linux adoption, they should be the ones working on having it in Debian. I don't think that Tails should do this work. -- sajolida Tails — https://tails.boum.org/ UX · Fundraising · Technical Writing
