Hi, [email protected] (2020-07-19): > Are the application-level privacy changes incorporated into the > Thunderbird in Tails from the now deprecated extension TorBirdy planned > to go upstream into the regular Thunderbird?
The changes that required patching Thunderbird have already been upstreamed. The other changes are merely setting prefs to non-default values, which I doubt can be upstreamed as-is: in most cases, I expect upstream has a reason to set the defaults the way they do for general purpose Thunderbird usage. > I can't find a list of these changes, they used to be on the main Tails > webpage. Examples and pointers to the implementation are in the "3.6.14 Thunderbird" section of our design doc: https://tails.boum.org/contribute/design/ _______________________________________________ Tails-dev mailing list [email protected] https://www.autistici.org/mailman/listinfo/tails-dev To unsubscribe from this list, send an empty email to [email protected].
