Works fine in libvirt/kvm (at least with an emulated USB device).

AFAIK, the open source version of VirtualBox supports neither USB
passthrough, nor USB removable device emulation. I've personally no
interest in providing support for the VirtualBox proprietary add-ons.

Interesting. This is supposed to have been fixed in Tails 1.2. sajolida?
