I have a recent model Macbook Air that I would like to use with Tails.
I was able to boot this machine from a Tails USB flash drive that I made. My method was to use the Tails installer, in Tails, in a Parallels virtual machine.
Problem: no network function. The networking icon in the upper right corner of the Tails screen reports "No network devices available."
OSX has a system report feature.
