The answer is probably: No, because a "normal" system will also generate
a lot of other non-Tor traffic besides HTTP or HTTPS. Examples for this
being IMAP, SMTP, NTP, software updates and the corresponding DNS
requests for all of these.

Probably the way to attempt to mask the use of tails would be to generate packets and send them over the clear, to look like a regular user on a windows 7 for instance. Not sure if it's possible though.
