I should have been more explicit. I am completely aware that, absent
persistence, nothing will be "saved" as such on any amnesiac OS. But I
do use persistence, and prior to 1.3~rc1, I had at least been able to
upload files (be they permanently stored in my persistent folder or
stored for 1 session on my Desktop) to a file-hosting site.
Now, however, I am unable to do any such thing. Instead, I get a
notification that a "disk cannot be read" and that there is a
permissions problem. Now that I write this, it strikes me that this is
likely similar to what another person wrote about USB permissions
problems. Unfortunately, I did not read that one and deleted it before I
had the chance to read it. But if this sounds similar/identical, that
might help things.
